Kimberly Bost is an artist, activist, and community leader whose work bridges creativity, advocacy, and public service. A dedicated mother and the current Executive Director of OUTright Youth of Catawba Valley, she leads the only nonprofit in her rural North Carolina region dedicated to supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth.

Kimberly’s creative journey began with degrees in Apparel Design from the University of Delaware and the Fashion Institute of Technology, leading to an accomplished career in design and product development for nationally recognized brands. Her art and design work, informed by decades of creative direction, continues to fuel her mission-driven community projects.

In addition to her artistic practice, Kimberly has been a three-time candidate for the North Carolina General Assembly, running on platforms that center equality, representation, and community wellbeing. Her political advocacy and nonprofit leadership are deeply informed by her creative vision, believing that art is a powerful tool for both personal transformation and societal change.

Whether on the canvas, in the community, or on the campaign trail, Kimberly’s work reflects her belief that creativity and courage can shape a more just, compassionate, and vibrant world.
